What is included in the PRICE !

The price includes pretty much everything from Delhi to Delhi – The train journeys, The stay at Jungle Lore Biding Lodge, All meals, 3 birding safaris, naturalist/guides. Did we mention the networking opportunities? Yes, that goes without saying on Jungli CEO Wild Breaks.

What is NOT included in the PRICE !

The price does not include the tips, snacks and alcoholic beverages you buy for personal consumption.

Who will join the event?

The Pangot Wild Break is open to Business Owners (Startups, SME's & Corporates), Executives at decision making positions in corporates, Professionals (doctors, artists, architects, lawyers etc..). They are free to bring their spouses and kids over 10 years of age to this Wild Break.

Will it be good business for me to join?

We aim to make it so good that you could put a Jungli CEO Wild Break as part of your annual business development exercise. How is the accommodation?

Jungle Lore Birding Lodge is one of the most reputed Lodges in Pangot. It has 5 well-appointed cottages along with a spacious dining area and a courtyard and grounds that make for fantastic birding opportunities while you are lounging. The food served is simple, organic and scrumptious.

How does payment work?

You will need to apply for the wild break. Upon approval, you need to transfer the entire amount of Rs. 15,800. This will confirm your participation.

Can I stay before/after?

Yes, you can! Contact us if you'd like help in doing the same.

What if I have to cancel?

You will be charged an amount of Rs. 5,000 if you cancel before 20th May. After the 20th May, we will not be able to refund you anything.

Welcome to the Birding Paradise!

This is a wild break that is for both the species of entrepreneurs – who are crazy about birds and who are passionate about networking. Set in the cool salubrious environs of Pangot, the Jungle Lore Birding Lodge along with its bird experts promise to give you an experience you will not forget in a flutter.

Day 1 Kathgodam–Pangot
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Depart New Delhi Railway Station at 0600 hours. Arrive Kathgodam Station at 1140 hrs. You will be met and transferred to Pangot. Last 02 hours of this drive takes you on one of the world's more spectacular mountain roads as we climb up into the Kumaon Hills on our way to this delightful 'lake city'. Arrive Pangot. After lunch birding with your birding guide near the lodge. Dinner in the dining room and retire in one of the cottages at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge.
Species: One can see woodpeckers such as Greater Yellownape, Scaly-breasted and Speckled Piculet here. Large flocks of Slaty-headed Parakeets, numerous Spotted and Oriental Turtle Doves, Grey Bushchat and Russet Sparrow. Cuckoos will feature highly and we hope to see Indian, Oriental, Large-hawk and Eurasian Cuckoos.
Large-billed Crow, Grey Treepie, Black-headed Jay, Maroon Oriole, Large Cuckoo Shrike, tits such as Rufousnaped, Black-throated & Yellow-browed and smaller numbers of Black-lored and Green-backed. White-tailed Nuthatches, Chestnut-bellied Nuthatches and Bar-tailed Treecreeper should also present.
Day 2 Pangot
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Full day birding with your guide at Pangot village, Baggar and Gughu Khan. These walks can be very rewarding. Overnight stay at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge.
Species: One can see crested serpent-eagle, mountain hawk-eagle, Woodpeckers such as brown-fronted, stripebreasted, rufous-bellied etc. Thrushes such as dark-throated, mistle etc. Striated prinia can be see in the terraced fields. Warblers such as tickell's leaf-warbler, greenish, golden-spectacled, grey-hooded. Flycatchers such as Asian brown, rusty-tailed, ultramarine, verditer, tickell's blue, rufous-bellied Niltava etc., orange-flanked bush robin, blue-capped redstart. Laughingthrushes such as white-throated, striated & streaked, chestnutcrowned etc. Look for accentor, upland pipit, blue-winged minla, whiskered yuhina etc.
Day 3 Sattal (Bhimtal)–Kathgodam Station
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Birding in the morning with your guide at Cheena Peak and Kilbury. After early lunch we will transfer you to Kathgodam railway station. (Tour Ends)
Species: We can encounter an excellent selection of Himalayan species including Lammergeier, Himalayan Griffon, Blue-winged Minla, Spotted and Slaty-backed Forktails, Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, Rufous-bellied Niltava and Khalij Pheasant. The numerous perennial and seasonal creeks are home to an amazing variety of flora and fauna including Leopard, Himalayan Palm Civet, Yellow-throated Himalayan Martin, Ghoral, Sambhar and Barking Deer.
