Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India.

Bandhavgarh National Park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and at present is a famous natural hub for White Tigers. White Tigers, now a major attraction around the world’s zoos, were first discovered in Rewa, not far from here. The terrain is broken, with rocky hill ranges, running roughly east west, interspersed with grassy swamps and forested valleys.

Itinerary

14th Jan: We leave by an overnight train from Nizamuddin Station.

15th Jan: We reach Katni early morning and our vehicles take us to Monsoon Forest.
Freshen up and gorge on the sumptuous breakfast spread. Laze around, connect with each other and have lunch before setting off for the afternoon safari.
Come back to a Bonfire. Share your stories, sing or dance. And yes, if you know how to play a guitar but have forgotten to bring it with you, that bonfire could be put to a sinister use.

16th Jan: Get up early for the morning safari and be back by lunch.
After tucking in your lunch and catching up on your beauty sleep, you could opt for a Yoga Session or wander off to click birdlife around the resort or for a nature walk.
Retire after another Bonfire.

17th Jan: Morning Safari. Come back to the resort and wind your way to the station. On the way, visit a village and experience their way of life. Have lunch at the village.

18th Jan: Reach Nizamuddin, early morning.
